Research indicates that approximately 3.5 million women in the UK suffer from pelvic floor problems in their lifetime. A study of 1,900 women by Netmums found that a third of these women developed urinary incontinence whilst pregnant and upto 75% of these women were too embarrassed to seek help.
No women should feel embarrassed about asking for help or avoiding activities such as exercises or laughing due to incontinence or leaking. Women’s health physiotherapy has been clinically proven to be a very successful treatment modality to address these issues.
